Last Updated: 23rd October 2025

Please read this disclaimer carefully before engaging in career coaching services with [Your Business Name / Your Name]. By participating in our coaching services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

1. Nature of Career Coaching

You understand and agree that career coaching is a partnership focused on helping you achieve specific career goals, identify resources, and develop action plans.

Coaching is NOT Therapy: Career coaching is not a substitute for professional mental health care, counselling, or therapy. If you are experiencing mental health challenges, you should consult with a licensed mental health professional.

Coaching is NOT Financial, Legal, or Medical Advice: The coach is not an attorney, financial advisor, or medical professional. Any information provided by the coach regarding financial, legal, or health matters is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional consultation. You should seek independent professional advice from appropriate licensed specialists.

2. No Guarantees of Outcome or Success

You acknowledge that the results of coaching are entirely dependent on your own efforts, commitment, motivation, and ability to follow through on the agreed-upon action steps.

NO GUARANTEES: [Your Business Name] and your coach make ABSOLUTELY NO GUARANTEES, REPRESENTATIONS, OR WARRANTIES that you will achieve any specific result, salary increase, promotion, job offer, or time frame for success as a result of the coaching relationship.

The coaching process offers guidance and tools, but ultimate success rests solely with you, the client.

3. Financial Acknowledgement (No Refunds)

NON-REFUNDABLE FEES: The Client acknowledges that, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the separate Terms and Conditions document, all coaching fees paid are non-refundable. This includes payments made for unused sessions, completed sessions, or upon early termination of the coaching relationship by the client.

Please refer to the full Terms and Conditions for the detailed cancellation, rescheduling, and refund policy.

4. Client Responsibility

You accept full responsibility for all decisions and actions taken during and after the coaching program. This includes, but is not limited to, how you choose to implement the suggestions, strategies, and resources provided by the coach.

You agree to act responsibly, legally, and within the bounds of your personal and professional ethics.

You release the coach from any and all liability for any loss or damage you may incur as a result of using the information or guidance provided in the coaching sessions.

5. Confidentiality (Summary)

All information shared during the coaching sessions will be kept strictly confidential, with the exceptions outlined in the full Terms and Conditions (T&Cs), such as mandatory reporting required by law or to prevent harm to yourself or others.

6. General Provisions / Additional Terms

This disclaimer is subject to change at any time. Any additional agreements or terms will be explicitly outlined in the separate Terms and Conditions document.

By proceeding with coaching, you confirm that you have read and understood this disclaimer.
